We are looking for a Voids Lead to join our large multi-trade operation based in Oxfordshire.

Typically, these works include;
- Responsive repairs, empty property maintenance and Upgrade works to domestic properties.
- Individual refurbishment and development projects to public, private and community buildings.
- Home improvements including disabled adaptations.

Working alongside the Area Manager for the day-to-day delivery of void service to domestic properties (MOD) using the regional in-house team, the post holder will have two supervisor reports and a team of trade colleagues to undertake repairs in a manner thatachieves all relevant performance targets.

**Responsibilities**:

- Day-to-day management of supervisors and multi-skilled trade colleagues.
- Working with the VOID Scheduler to ensure work is organised efficiently.
- Undertaking surveys and costing identified works.
- Ensure jobs are completed in a timely manner and effectively.
- To proactively manage high standards of workmanship within the team through on-site and post-inspections.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, customers and clients.
- Identify opportunities to improve the service that the team provides.
- To drive the voids team forwards in all areas.
- Have experience managing a team of directly employed trade colleagues.
- Good knowledge of all functional aspects of building and construction.
- Good knowledge of using Schedule or Rates (SOR's).
- Evidence experiences of managing a team within commercial budgets.
- Good understanding of Building Regulations in relation to domestic properties.
- Good understanding of current Health and Safety legislation.
- Have trade qualifications and sufficient practical experience working within a trade.
- Driving licence essential.
