We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Head of Programme to join WGM Engineering on a permanent basis to work within our Project division based in Glasgow. The purpose of the role is to be accountable for developing and maintaining detailed and integrated project programmes using Primavera P6. Ensuring that the delivery team understand the requirements of the programme including regular reviews with the project team. Input progress into the programme to produce the four weekly reports including programme activity variance against the baseline and previous report, SPI, CPI and earned value curves.

**Main Duties**
- Ability to produces a well-defined programme plan, sets the key workstreams/milestones and assigns programme & project managers.
- Provide leadership to the project management group on the programme
- Input to the Change roadmap and strategy to align with group strategy
- Work with the PMO to ensure an overall change framework is implemented and adhered to, to ensure efficient and effective delivery
- Work with the PMO to implement an effective PMO structure to report the programme in administration, planning and reporting.
- Implement and manage a robust governance framework, enabling the programme to progress safely at pace, ensuring accountability for delivery, decisions and actions is clearly understood by all, including sponsors and executives
- Baselines the plan requirements, designs, budget and scope during Programme Definition. Manages changes through the change control process. Challenges and intervenes where there is scope creep, budget overrun and plan slippage.
- Works closely with delivery partners to shape the programme, ensuring there are clear goals, benefits, scope, governance and delivery structure with planning, design and estimating, bringing together delivery and business partner teams; actively managing dependencies between these teams and other projects and programmes.
- Demonstrates financial acumen to develop and manage a detailed business case, including investments, detailed benefits and link to overall finances of the business.
- Provides timely reports on programme status, risks and issues, evaluating programme performance based on management information.

**Salary**: £80,000.00-£90,000.00 per year
