We are looking to recruit a Full Time Support worker to join a dynamic and enthusiastic team.
Our service is dedicated to supporting individuals with complex mental health needs in their own home within our 2 dedicated sites. The work that you do will enable these individuals to lay foundations for their future, which will support them to achieve important goals and make positive changes. This role does not involve any personal care.
Our Support Workers are an essential part of our team, supporting the Night time support staff and our Senior STaR worker to develop support plans with the service users.
You will need to have a keen interest in working with individuals who have long term mental health issues, alcohol/ drug misuse alongside a potential forensic history.
Support work involves lone working so any applicant will need to be confident in completing this task. Support work by its very nature is a 24/7 job so this role will require weekend, evening work as well as occasional cover when required for night shifts. Some experience of working in this sector would be beneficial however would not be essential for the right applicant
You will be part of a team which also includes a Senior Worker, STaR workers and Wake Night Support staff.
