About The Role***

Are you an experienced and highly skilled Security Officer looking for a challenging and rewarding role? Join our team at Scarborough General Hospital as a Full-Time Hospital Security Guard / CCTV Controller. We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to help maintain a secure and safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensure a secure and safe environment for all individuals within the hospital premises.
- Control access to the hospital, allowing entry only to authorized personnel and visitors.
- Conduct regular patrols to deter criminal activity and ensure the safety of everyone on-site.
- Promptly and efficiently respond to incidents, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
- Report all incidents and escalate any issues to the appropriate authority.
- Communicate effectively with hospital staff, patients, and visitors.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of incidents and daily tasks.
- Attend and actively participate in all required training and development sessions.

**Key Requirements**:

- Minimum of 1 years of experience in a similar role.
- Possess a valid SIA license.
- Proficient in spoken and written English.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible approach to working hours and duties.
- Good physical fitness to carry out required physical duties.
- Willingness to undergo a DBS check.
