**Salary**: Band B point 17 - point 21 (£22,338 - £25,262) pro rata, FTE

Actual gross salary based on a full academic year (£9,530.88
- £10,778.45)

**Responsible to**: Bursar

**Main Purpose of Job**:
To operate Bursary Reception and provide effective administrative support to the Bursary team.

**Key Responsibilities**:
To staff Bursary Reception and deal with all related duties, as follows:

- To welcome and sign in visitors to the school using appropriate security procedures.
- To operate the switchboard, receiving incoming calls and dealing with them as appropriate in a professional manner.**.**:

- To sort and distribute incoming mail and administer outgoing mail.
- To accept deliveries and arrange distribution
- To deal with queries from staff, visitors, parents and pupils on general issues.

To provide effective Administrative support to the Bursary team, as follows:

- To organise and coordinate meetings and events as required
- To make phone calls when asked to by colleagues in the Bursary to help them out in busy times
- To book internal or external venues or meeting rooms as required
- To arrange catering for events or meetings as required
- To manage communication to all Support Staff on behalf of the Bursary
- To perform word processing of correspondence, reports, publications and other documents as required
- To perform photocopying / scanning / filing as necessary
- To organise and keep tidy the common Bursary areas including storage, etc
- To order stationery for Bursary teams as required. Make Bookstore aware if we are running low on paper or envelopes of a certain size
- To attend and participate in relevant meetings as required
- To undertake other duties appropriate to the grading of the post as required
- To maintain confidentiality of information acquired in the course of undertaking duties for the school
- To be responsible for your own continuing self-development, undertaking training as appropriate.
