Are you an experienced Executive Assistant looking for a new opportunity within the HR sector?

This is an exciting time in the HR & Comms Central Function and we are looking for the right person to provide seamless executive assistant support the HR Director UK & Asia. This is an integral role within the wider HR & Communications team and will requirecollaboration with senior stakeholders across our complex organisation. You will work closely with the HR & Communications Senior Leadership Team and be able to anticipate the needs of multiple stakeholders and resolve operational and administrative issues.This is critical to allowing the HR Director and Senior Leadership Team to remain focused on their key deliverables. The role will involve an 80/20 split between working from home and working in the Hemel Hempstead office. There will be the requirement towork from the London office on occasion.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Ensure that the HR Director feels well supported by performing an extensive array of administrative and organisational tasks to a high standard
- Take a proactive approach to anticipating the HR Director’s needs. Make judgment calls/decisions, ask for direction or context when needed and escalate any potential issues promptly
- Conduct research on information as required and draft appropriate responses to stakeholders if necessary
- Work collaboratively with the direct reports of the Director of HR to co-ordinate activities and provide support/advice as required
- Support the HR Director with key HR Programmes including work in Diversity & Inclusion and Development
- Arrange and manage Leadership Meetings and All Hands Calls, preparing scripts and agendas as well as co-ordinating and briefing guest speakers
- Manage complex team events, meetings and training activities while staying within the allocated budget and managing any required suppliers
- Proactively co-ordinate the HR Leadership Team’s calendars on an ongoing basis. Schedule meetings efficiently and ensure that reporting deadlines etc. are supported
- Represent and support the HR Director to run HR and Comms engagement
- Manage sophisticated domestic and international travel plans for the HR Director and submit timely expense claims according to company guidelines
- Pro-actively collaborate with the wider HR function, our Joint Ventures as well as other EA’s across Sopra Steria to ensure alignment and to resolve diary clashes etc.
- Offer support for social media and be a champion within the team
- Provide cover, training and co-ordination to other administrators and EA’s as required

**What you will bring**:

- High level of integrity and be able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive material with tact and professionalism
- Effective research, written and verbal communications skills
- Excellent IT skills and an interest in using technology to improve work efficiency
- Sound judgement, discretion and maturity
- Inquisitive and interested in the pulse-of-the-organisation
- The desire to take on big challenges and the ability to see 'the big picture’ as well as the details
- Is resourceful and shows good judgment in resolving issues
- A curiosity about technology and digitalisation
- Adaptability and being able to flex your communication style, when required
- A resilient approach and the ability to work unsupervised in a fast-paced environment is key. Along with responsibility to handle a high level of confidential and sensitive information in a professional manner
- Experience running events, meetings and training activities
