**Job Summary**

Cloud IT as a company is growing and is need of yet another IT Support Engineer, this role is ideal for someone who has a passion to learning new technologies and resolving technical problems. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and have at least 1 year previous experience of working within a similar role as an IT engineer. This role is **fully office based **with occasional client site visits.

**Responsibilities**:

- Take incoming support calls from customers
- Check clients backups and understand how backups work
- Log support tickets
- Customer documentation
- On-site visits to customers as and when required
- Remote desktop support with customers where required
- Provide technical advice to customers searching for solutions
- Escalate issues to vendors and distributors where necessary
- Arrange repairs in-house or with vendors
- Test new software, products and solutions
- Assist the team with day to day support

**Essential**:

- Enthusiasm to learn and problem solve
- Excellent communication skills.
- You are already CompTIA certified or working toward your CompTIA
- Great team player and working within a team
- Ability to prioritise work and manage projects.
- Excellent telephone manners
- Microsoft Windows 10, 11 Knowledge
- Basic networking knowledge
- Microsoft Office 365 or Office knowledge

**Technical Support Engineer Benefits**:

- Salary: £26k - 28K (Based on experience, qualifications & knowledge)
- Monday - Friday 9am - 6pm.
- Fully Office based role with occasional site visits
- 31 days holiday, inclusive of statutory bank holidays.
- Training on products and services
- Challenging and varied working environment.

Pay: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
