**Context of role**

One Wirral CIC is a not-for-profit organisation committed to addressing health inequalities by developing collaborations across Wirral, bringing together Health and Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise organisations to better support communities.

**Purpose of the role**

The Clinical Services Administrator will support a number of Clinical Services across the organisation and key administration tasks across the whole One Wirral CIC Team.

**Main accountabilities**
- Work with colleagues to ensure seamless administration across services, knowledge of key administration tasks will be necessary to achieve this.
- Work collaboratively with Health colleagues from General Practice and NHS Trusts to ensure seamless administration processes.
- Working on clinical systems (e.g. EMIS and ICE)
- Calling patients to arrange appointments and other activities.
- Preparing clinic letters.
- Work with the team to develop and maintain robust internal administrative practice.
- Support the collection of data for reporting and communication purposes.
- Build strong relationships with local Health, Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise organisations.
- Liaise with customers and partner organisations to arrange events and meetings, as and when required.

- Undertake continual personal and professional development, taking an active part in reviewing and developing the roles and responsibilities.
- Adhere to organisational policies and procedures, including confidentiality, safeguarding, lone working, information governance, and health and safety.
- Work with your line manager to access regular supervision.

**Miscellaneous**
- Work as part of the team to seek feedback, continually improve services and contribute to business planning.
- Undertake any tasks consistent with the level of the post and the scope of the role, ensuring that work is delivered in a timely and effective manner.
- Duties may vary from time to time, without changing the general character of the post or the level of responsibility.

**PERSON SPECIFICATION - All applicants must meet specified DBS and Criminal Record Checks**

**Experience/Knowledge**
- Experience of:

- Working in a Healthcare setting (preferable)
- Working on clinical systems e.g. EMIS (preferable)
- Working across different organisations or projects
- Supporting and working to plans and timescales.
- Organising operational, project and programme tasks

**Qualifications/Training**
- 5 or more GCSEs (or equivalent) Grade A-C or above, including English and Maths.
- Demonstrate commitment to professional and personal development.

**Skills**
- Effective communicator
- Effective administrative & IT skills
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, with a range of individual and group.
- Ability to review and monitor activity and record outcomes and learning.
- Able to provide a culturally sensitive service by supporting people from all backgrounds and communities respecting lifestyles and diversity.
- Can demonstrate personal accountability, emotional resilience and ability to work well under pressure.
- Ability to produce quality monthly reports.
- Effective Time Management skills.

**Salary**: £22,500 pro-rata

Interviews will be held on 8th & 9th August 2023.
