This is a great opportunity to join Team LGT and work in the Trust’s internal creative agency. Media, Communications & Engagement brings together three teams who are responsible for promoting and protecting the Trust’s reputation internally and externally.

We are looking for an experienced senior comms officer to join our team. The right person will be a real newshound with a great understanding of what makes a story engaging and interesting. They will be a dynamic team player and enjoying collaborating with colleagues and clients to ensure that we are comms-led in our approach.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Act as the comms partner to a range of internal clients around the Trust. Working closely with them to identify and prioritise projects, developments and events that need to be shared with different audiences both internally and externally. Also provide clear advice and guidance around communication issues.
Support internal clients by drafting and implementing communication plans that land with impact, drive engagement, and make an impression on our audiences using all earned, owned, and, paid for channels including social media.
Work very closely with the relevant content partner to develop appropriate assets and materials that will support successful campaign delivery.
Prioritise incoming requests for support in line with our wider Trust strategy.
Write engaging and appropriate copy for a wide range of internal audiences including news stories, colleague newsletters, internal briefings, intranet copy, scripts for senior leaders, cascade notes, internal handbooks and how to guides.
Write engaging and appropriate copy for a wide range of external audiences and stakeholders such as press releases, presentations, scripts, web copy, and briefings.
Support with a variety of internal and external events such as employee recognition, community engagement and stakeholder visits.
Handle and log media enquiries including drafting reactive press statements and briefings, organising media interviews, photography and filming.
