**Role profile**
The role will be based in Reigate or Manchester and will be required to work in the office one day per week (Tuesday).

**Knowledge, Skills & Experience**
- Experience working in an agile software delivery environment
- Experience as a scrum-master of co-ordinating, guiding and mentoring scrum teams
- Relevant experience working in a commercial environment.
- Highly analytical and logical mind.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholder relationships
- Experience of identifying and challenging the effectiveness of existing processes; of proposing improvements; and of achieving buy-in from stakeholders.
- Strong documentation skills
- Ability to work at a detailed level across complex business processes.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Act as a facilitator for 2 Scrum teams, helping to manage and optimise the flow of work.
- Applies the Agile approach and coordinates and facilitates the necessary ceremonies.
- Supports continuous improvement through feedback or other initiatives to improve squad efficiency.
- Works closely with Product and Tech to refine and maintain the backlog, including writing stories, splitting stories and epics where required.
- Guide and coach the team as well as the wider business on Agile/Scrum practices and principles, ensuring adherence to agreed-upon processes.
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (e.g. Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives).
- Remove impediments and blockers to ensure the team can work efficiently.
- Work with the Head of Product to define and document the mid and long-term roadmap and work with the tech team to size stories and epics.
- Monitor and report on team performance metrics, including velocity, burn-down, and other relevant KPIs.
- Foster a collaborative environment, encouraging open communication and feedback.
- Work closely with the Head of Software Engineering, and other department heads to define and maintain a monthly KPI deck for the Product and Tech team by working closely with each of the department heads.
