**Job Title: Operational Risk Consultant**

**Location: London/ Waterloo ( Hybrid working )**

**Length: July 2023**

Working with a British multinational energy company headquartered in London we are seeking to hire an Operational Risk Consultant who has **Front Office** Experience (preferably within a Commodities environment) Experience of **Operational Risk** Policies and Standard
Business controls design/redesign, test, implementation, assurance

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Define the role of 1st line in products trading & supply Support the process and controls scope through a structured change management process to ensure commitments are achieved within agreed time, cost, and quality parameters with focus on delivering thebusiness benefits.
- Validate financial forecasts and review ongoing reconciliation of resources and expenditures.
- Proactively analyse risks and variances against plan to assess trends threatening agreed scope, time, cost, and quality commitments. Identify signs that a project may be at risk and escalate quickly and appropriately. Ensure directly or indirectly thatappropriate stakeholder change management and communication plans and engagements are developed and executed.

**Key Skills**:

- Front Office Experience preferably within a Commodities environment Experience of Operational Risk Policies and Standard
- Business controls design/redesign, test, implementation, assurance Demonstrated learning agility in ambiguous and unfamiliar situations
- Knowledge of commodities markets, derivative products, trading platforms and operations as well as overall E2E processes/interfaces would be a distinct advantage
- Expert in MS PowerPoint
- Familiar with and able to adhere to project management methodologies and tools
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Strong stakeholder management skills - including experience coaching stakeholders
