We have a brand-new opportunity for a AWS Principle Solutions Architect to join our ADS (Aerospace, Defence, and Security) CTO team to lead the establishment of a Cloud centre of excellence, starting with AWS and to drive, educate, and sell the capabilitiesAWS can offer as a Cloud native platform. This is a diverse role in which you will be challenged to lead the broader Cloud exploitation community in identifying and delivering opportunities to support our clients’ strategic direction through the better useof AWS. You will be required to travel to various customer sites in this role. You will support the Cloud Solution Design and Development in Pre-sales and in Delivery.

**What you will be doing**:

- Lead the development of the Cloud exploitation team exploring and demonstrating how AWS technologies can be applied to solve customer requirements and to drive value across our clients business.
- Embed new AWS techniques into the business through role modelling, training and design oversight.
- Support the processes of pilots and proof of concept delivery in the ADS iLab to prove opportunities and develop business cases to drive those opportunities; influencing stakeholders and gaining stakeholder support from clients and internal colleagues asrequired.
- Formulate the Cloud exploitation business strategy in conjunction with the broader Cloud Centre of Excellence and the ADS CTO Office.
- Support and, where required, lead cross training of BAU teams to embed AWS skills in the broader organisation**

**What you will bring**:

- Excellent and Demonstrable knowledge of leading-AWS Services Design and Implementation across the full spectrum of AWS capabilities including but not limited to: AWS Environment Build and Management including Console administration, setting up user accounts,security groups and sub-nets.
- Setting up AWS Services as follows:

- IAM AWS Database Technologies : Redshift Aurora RDS Glacier DynamoS3 AWS Serverless Development LAMBDA AWS Encryption AWS Integration Glue API Gateway AWS Amplify AWS Data Exploitation including Kinesis Quicksight Sagemaker
- Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and Cloud development skills in Agile methodologies.
- Experience of Agile tooling such as Jira/Jenkins/Git
- Experience of Containerisation - Kubernetes.
- AWS Cloud Certified Solution Architect

- Experience of leading teams
- Project Management experience
- Any other Public Cloud platforms

Employment type: Full-time, permanent
Location: Remote working with travel various UK customer sites

**Salary**: £95K
Benefits: £6,600 Car allowance, 25 days annual leave with the option to buy additional days, private medical, life assurance, pension, and generous flexible benefits fund which is 3% of base salary
