Hymans Robertson Investment Services (HRIS) is fully owned by Hymans Robertson LLP. HRIS runs a rapidly growing UK discretionary fund management (DFM) proposition, which is focused on designing and managing a model portfolio service (MPS) for its professional clients - in this case, third party UK financial adviser firms.

The MPS portfolios are currently made up of multiple underlying funds, typically spread across a range of asset classes and using different management styles, such as active and passive management.

**The Role**

We are seeking an Investment Administrator to join the HRIS Investment team. This is a new role that offers a significant opportunity to help shape the team and play a key part of our business growth as a DFM.

As part of the Investment team you will report to a Senior Investment manager and work collaboratively with a wide range of business partners including Investment Operations and Distribution teams.

The role requires some experience of investment administration, preferably from a retail portfolio or fund management background, however other experience will be considered.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Administer changes to portfolios on our in-house portfolio management system.
- Review and prepare regular client reporting, including portfolio factsheets.
- Carrying our performance and risk analysis of portfolios and report the findings of this analysis to internal parties including having to calculate some metrics from first principles.
- Acting as a day to day point of contact for internal teams on a number of investment administrative matters.
- Supporting with the development and testing of our in-house portfolio management system.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Thorough and detail orientated
- Investment portfolio administration experience preferred; however, fund administration or asset administration will be considered
- Previous experience at Discretionary Fund manager and/or Morningstar/FE Analytics/Lipper (or equivalents) would be an advantage but not essential
- Proactive and keen to contribute ideas and improvements
- Experience in working to deadlines
