**Bid Manager - Civil Engineering - North West**
Our client is a national civil engineering contractor with offices throughout the UK, who typically deliver schemes up to £15 million across a range of projects including roads, remediation, build earthworks and renewable energy.
Due to continued success in their northern division we are looking to recruit and experienced Bid Manager to join the senior management team.
**About You**
- Client facing Bid Manager and comfortable working with a pre-con team including Estimators, Pre Construction Engineers and Project Managers
- Experience as a Bid Manager for a contractor within Civil Engineering & Infrastructure sectors
- Proven success with management of high profile tenders
- Technical experience and knowledge of construction process
**Roles and Responsibilities**:
- Producing and delivering high quality presentations for marketing, prequalification and tender purposes
- Represent the company at meeting with clients and statutory bodies and clients
- Manage, pre-qualification submissions
- Manage Tender Submissions
- Write and manage the production of Tender Quality Submissions (Quality question responses, technical responses, Tender Stage Construction Phase Plans, Tender Stage Work Package Plans etc.)
- Assist with public relations, advertising programs, corporate identity development and implementation, special events and market research activities
- Obtain feedback on tender submissions and implement improvements
