Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Traffic Signal Engineer to join our Consultancy Services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering a wide range of traffic engineering projects, including design, traffic modelling, and report writing. Your expertise will be essential in managing projects from bid stages to financial project management and ongoing customer support.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in delivering traffic engineering projects across the UK, adhering to national/local standards and best practices.
- Assess and mitigate risks associated with traffic engineering projects.
- Travel for site visits and customer meetings, with overnight stays where necessary.
- Prepare technical reports and specifications.
- Prepare consultancy/design quotations.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to liaise with other business areas and customers.
- Problem-solving skills for complex challenges.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage your workload independently.
- A good understanding of traffic signal design fundamentals and UK standards/specifications.
- Knowledge of traffic engineering software, including AutoCAD, preferably with KeySignals.
- Knowledge of traffic signal products across the industry.
- 26 days of holiday, increasing up to 29 days with length of service.
