We are offering an exciting opportunity to join a growing Compliance team at Chubb Bulleid Solicitors as a **Compliance Administrator**.

We are a leading and long-established law firm based in the heart of the Somerset countryside, with offices in Wells, Street and Somerton.

As we are an SRA-regulated law firm, much of the work we do falls within the scope of the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter Terrorist Financing Regulations. We are expanding our compliance team to ensure our legal staff are fully supported in meeting their regulatory obligations.

As the business continues to grow, so this role will develop and whilst many of the tasks are routine, you will always have a ‘curveball’ to deal with, so we are looking for someone that can think on their feet and search out answers using good research skills.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Collating data from internal compliance reviews
- Developing and maintaining the compliance pages of the internal intranet system
- Keeping informed regarding pending regulatory changes
- Being a point a contract for staff with simple compliance queries
- Assisting in the development and implementation of compliance-related policies, procedures and precedents throughout the Company when required
- Assisting in the development of training materials for internal use
- Supporting the wider operations team with delivery of their projects when required
- Observe health and safety procedures and work safely at all times
- Adhere to all internal methods, systems, policies and procedures
- Be responsible for your own continuing self-development, undertaking training as appropriate to the work environment and developments in your role, including training on software or systems used at Chubb Bulleid if not already familiar with them
- Conduct yourself with professionalism, tact, and diplomacy as a representative of Chubb Bulleid, in line with policies and procedures

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Attention to detail

Ability to work in team-oriented environment

Proficient in using Microsoft Word

Excellent time management skills with the ability to re-prioritise

Desirable skills are:
Familiarity with simple Excel formulae

Familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint

**What we are offering**:
A competitive salary, circa £24,000 - £26,000
