Administration/accounts Officer

We are seeking a new admin/accounts officier to join our office team at Fraserburgh, working in a fast paced environment. Reporting directly to the Transport Manager, the role includes the responsibility for all aspects of the office administration, accounting and bookkeeping services of the business.
Duties Include:
- Carrying out all general administrative works as required in the office - taking bookings, looking after staff files, etc
- Carrying out all bookeeping and accountancy works required for the business including but not limited too VAT returns, bank reconcilations, processing purchases invoices, distributing sales invoices, etc. Ensuring all works are checked for numerical accuracy
- Carryout Credit control and chasing up any outstanding debts
- Any financial or administrative issues should be reported to the Transport Manager immediately
- Role requires the strictess of confidence as you will be dealing with personal and financial information
- Previous accounting experience is essential (SAGE experience is preferred but not required)
- Monday to Friday (0800hrs - 1700hrs). Part time will be considered
