Walfinch Suffolk Coastal are looking for high quality Support Workers to assist in day sits to join our growing award winning national team.
We are looking for Support Workers that are passionate and that want to make a difference in someone’s life to join our team in Suffolk Coastal area.
As a Support Worker an example of your duties would be:
- Advise, support our clients in their own homes or out in the community
- Plan day to day activities whether it would be lunch out or a day at the library
- Advise, support and or undertake the planning, preparation, cooking and serving of meals.
- Support or undertake household duties.
- Administer medication as per a Care Plan and MAR chart
- Maintain Service Users confidentiality, respect, privacy, and dignity at all times. We are looking for hard-working, resilient, and pro-active individuals and in return we will offer you:
- Very competitive hourly rates from £11.50 per hour up to £13.50

- £750 incentive for new to care workers or those who have not worked in the care industry for the previous 2 years via Kick Start for Care Scheme.
- 28 days paid annual leave (pro rata).
- Paid mileage
- Free DBS, Uniform and PPE.

What we need from you:
- Have a valid Driving Licence and own a car (preferable),
- Have experience in Health Care sector is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
- Good communication skills.
- Genuine passion for helping others and wanting to make a positive difference.

**Salary**: £11.50-£13.50 per hour
