**DUTIES**
- To facilitate the processes of the MARAC, with the inclusion of receiving referrals and risk assessments; agenda setting; ensuring the recording of MARAC minutes and actions has been undertaken; ensuring the completion of agreed actions discussed at the MARAC have been carried out by partner agencies; and maintaining relevant databases.
- To liaise and co-ordinate with local agencies to develop, maintain and review the MARAC Operating Protocol and MARAC Information Sharing Protocol, including the monitoring of the agreed referral threshold to ensure that the volume of cases referred to MARAC remains manageable.
- To prepare reports for the MARAC Steering Group and Strategic Group as appropriate.
- Work closely with partner agencies to ensure that all relevant members of staff are familiar with the MARAC process, their roles, and responsibilities, and they receive appropriate training as necessary.
- To liaise with the full range of potential referral agencies such as the police and health, in particular those working with minoritised or hard to reach groups, to ensure that the needs of all victims are met.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
- At least 2 years’ experience within a Community Marac Coordinator role or equivalent.
- Experience of working within the Domestic Abuse, VAWG sector and/or related sectors.
- Experience of undertaking risk and needs assessments, safety and support planning, crisis planning and successfully managing high numbers of referrals.
- Proven experience of project management, working in a multi-agency setting and developing successful partnerships.
- In-depth knowledge of VAWG, with a particular focus on the dynamics of domestic abuse, (physical, emotional and sexual violence, coercive control, so-called ‘honour-based violence’, forced marriage, stalking and harassment, human trafficking, FGM), its impact on women, children, families, communities, and their safety.
