Our Senior National Operations Manager is currently looking for a National Trainer to join his team. In this role you will be based from our Stoke Depot, however you will be required to travel across the East Midlands and North West.

In this role you will conduct relevant training with regards to the induction and development of DPD operational service providers and employees up to and including Depot Management.

Train and develop depot based On Job Trainers (OJTs) in all relevant operational processes, new initiatives and updates. Support and develop front line operatives and managers on DPD processes with an aim to maximise operational efficiency.

You will deliver;
- Practical ‘in depot’ operational training
- Induction content to new Managers
- DPD systems training including Saturn Applications, UniVerse and looker
- Training and operational support when moving and opening new DPD Depots.
- Continuous OJT recruitment and development
- Support to Depot Management in relation to Network process changes
- Support the implementation of Lean Six Sigma principles into DPD

Your key responsibilities will include;
- Providing training in relation to Company systems, processes and procedures including
- delivering amazing service
- Delivering quality training which supports and improves compliance for the organisation
- Delivering training in relation to Inductions, Health and Safety, Technical Updates, Operational
- processes and procedures and ‘Best Practice’
- Managing own calendar of activities as directed by Line Manager
- Complying with all required reporting procedures
- Attending meetings or courses as directed by Line Manager
- Any other tasks as directed by the Senior National Operations Manager

**Qualifications**
To be considered for this role you must have demonstrable experience as a trainer ideally within a large scale, geographically dispersed multi-layered organisation. You will be passionate about delivering engaging and dynamic training courses that deliver outstanding results to meet customers needs. Knowledge of warehouse / logistics would be advantageous

- Someone that really enjoys resolving problems and demonstrates high levels of resilience, self-motivation and flexibility.

- Full clean driving licence with a flexible approach towards travel and occasional overnight stays
