**HR & Payroll Assistant**
**Reading (Hybrid)**
**Circa £30k per annum DOE**
**Your New Role**
You will be responsible for the compliance of new starters and potential joiners, ensuring references and right to work checks have been carried out. You will all be responsible for leading payroll for 100+ employees. Ensuring all data is correct and calculating the correct pay amounts, including deductions, bonuses, etc. With the assistance of the HR and a Payroll system. You will be the responsible for answering all payroll queries and ensure the company remains in compliance with policies, tax, regulations, and deductions laws. You will be responsible for the administration of pension schemes, taxes. along with working closely with the finance team on projects such as: Sales Ledger, Invoicing, Credit Control, expenses, etc.
This role will report into the Head of HR and will support the people function across all aspects, including payroll.
This is a hybrid role, requiring 3 days in the office on a weekly basis.
**To Ensure Your Success**
You will need to have strong administration experience and preferably within a HR/Payroll team. Duties will include adding joiner the HR System, document writing, including offer letters, providing recruitment support / coordination, including interview scheduling, ad writing. Looking for a bright and confident individual who wants to grow and develop within the business. The role includes a wide variety of tasks that will require high attention of detail and ability to work at pace.
