The Grants Officer (Maternity Cover) will be responsible for high quality grants planning, administration and reporting, focusing upon Statutory Funding and supporting the Grants & Trusts Team to deliver key funder deliverables. This fixed-term role will provide a unique opportunity to learn about fundraising and the wider work of the Development Department with English Heritage.
The role provides opportunities to visit spectacular heritage sites, engage with English Heritage teams across departments, and build valuable knowledge and expertise of funder stewardship for the heritage sector, including from The National Lottery Heritage Fund.
The role is part of the Grants & Trusts team within the Development Department; we are committed to a hybrid and flexible working model which includes the option to work from home as well as the office. In consultation with your line manager, you are able to decide how and where you work most productively under our hybrid working model.
You will be self-motivated and use your own initiative to achieve agreed goals. You will also have exceptional attention to detail and be confident working with internal and external stakeholders at all levels and in coordinating multiple projects.
