**Location**: Hybrid (Redbridge, London and Home-based)

**Holidays**: 28 days per annum (includng bank holidays) plus 2 days for Eid

**Reporting to**: Trustees

The Grants Officer will create a positive impact on Muslim communities living in the UK by supporting the distribution of grant funding delivered. Working with the Trustees and wider Team, you will ensure we deliver at a high quality consistently.

**About All Ways Network**

All Ways Network (AWN) inception back in 2017 began from our very first event, Meet the Funders. Since October 2018 we became a registered charity (1180445) working to make the landscape for UK based Muslim and non-Muslim led not-for-profits (NFPs) of an annual income of £1 million or less, an easier one to navigate, by empowering and strengthening their individual capacities to achieve this.

We assist with NFPs working in programme areas but not exclusively in: homelessness, domestic violence and abuse, alcohol and drugs misuse, community empowerment/cohesion, women empowerment, youth work, older people, prisoners and ex-offenders etc

**Key responsibilities**
- To lead in delivering our evolving grants provision to the under-served sector; bringing together our work to ensure a streamlined offer
- To lead on distribution of our grant funding to a diversity of organisations across the UK, ensuring it is delivered to improve impact and engages diverse audiences
- Lead on delivering grant funding panels
- Maintain a grants management system in line with GDPR and manage data
- To lead on delivering the highest quality consistently.
- Establish and build strong relationships with strategic stakeholders, including awarded organisations and manage the distribution of funding to grantees and that they complete required monitoring and reporting
- Support the Trustees and AWN Team to report progress to internal and external stakeholders via meetings, written reports and presentations
- Support the Trustees and AWN Team to raise the profile of AWN as credible grants distributor through engagement in funder networks
- Communications and Public Affairs
- Assist the Communication Officer in the development of marketing and communications materials, including the identification of grantees to spotlight through digital storytelling and sharing content that can be used to promote the impact of our work through social media channels
- Lead the delivery of events to launch and showcase work where applicable, with support from the External Relations Department.

**Other area of responsibilities**
- Ensure not-for-profits play a strong leadership role across the work
- Keep up to date on new developments and trends within the grant-making and charity sectors
- Work with the Grants Committee in setting and working within the annual budget and targets for all activity
- Manage and operate within the agreed business plan and budget to ensure that departmental targets are met
- Maintain budgets as appropriate
- Build relationships with aligned organisations; identifying opportunities to work in partnership where approach
- Represent All Ways Network (AWN) at events and conferences
- Act as an ambassador for the organisation, contributing to the effectiveness of meetings, the sharing of knowledge and experience and the development of All Ways Network (AWN) and its profile
- Work closely with AWN wider Team to ensure alignment and a streamlined approach
- Take reasonable care of their own health and safety and for that of others who might be affected by their own work, as required by law and described in the relevant operating procedures and policies
- Undertake any other duties and reasonable requests that are in keeping with the nature of this post
