Your role:
An exciting opportunity has become available within the Department for Health and Adult Care. You will work as part of a team to provide effective and comprehensive administrative and business support, contributing to excellent service delivery through the provision of more specialist/technical administration duties.

The role will be agile (which means a combination of being based in the office and working from home).

The Council operates a flexible working policy and this is a full time position - 37 hours per week

About you:
You will have exceptional organisational skills in order to work under pressure to complete tasks to potentially conflicting deadlines, without direct line management, re-prioritising your own work as appropriate or allocating tasks to others.

You will be capable of resolving problems, using your own initiative to provide practical solutions.

You will be experienced in using computer packages and be confident in quickly being able to use bespoke software used within different services.

Excellent communications skills will be required, together with high levels of customer service skills to deliver polite, courteous and efficient service to colleagues, partners and service users.

The role will have more of an emphasis on coordinating and supporting the Preparing for Adulthood Transition Panel, building relationships across various departments within Children’s and Adult Services, managing day to day queries and ensuring various systems are kept up to date, although you may be covering other areas within the team.
