**ROLE SUMMARY**

The Crewing Assistant plays a vital role in offering administrative assistance to the Crewing team facilitating crew planning and managing all logistics related to crew assignments. This includes overseeing the entire process of mobilisation and demobilisation for personnel, collaborating closely with the Crewing, Recruitment, HR, and Operations teams. Assisting in various administrative tasks to ensure that the crewing function runs smoothly and efficiently. Key duties and responsibilities to include, but are not limited to:

- Assist the crewing team with project crew allocation, scheduling and facilitation of crew changes
- Assist the crewing team with arranging travel and accommodation and any other logístical requirements for project personnel, focusing on cost-effective solutions to meet commercial goals
- Assist with recording comprehensive and accurate offshore personnel movements for projects using the BMS Crew Planner and Crew Forecast, recording accurate crew changes, training, crew availability and project uplifts
- Maintain offshore personnel records and certification, performing competency validations as required
- Assist with validation and approval of offshore personnel timesheets and expense claims, recording expense claims on the BMS for project approval, highlighting any payroll queries
- Record offshore personnel holiday’s or leave requirements
- Order, log and arrange delivery (if necessary) PPE requirements for offshore personnel
- Assist with preparing project assignment conditions, travel letters and any other necessary documentation for travel or projects
- Raising purchase orders and validating costs
- Update and format onshore and onshore/offshore personnel CVs to company standard
- Providing administration support for training, development and competencies for offshore personnel
- Maintain up-to date project documents and vessel briefs
- Support with the development and operation of the BMS Personnel modules and crew planners
- Assist with project-specific tasks and new business initiatives, offering suggestions for increased crewing efficiency
- Participate in weekly crewing meetings
- Participate in out of hours on-call rota and participate in the department and emergency on-call response rota
- Undertake any other office duties as the Company may reasonably require.

**QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE**
- 2 years’ experience in a administration role
- Knowledge of the Oil and Gas industry (preferred)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Environmental training general awareness
- Safety training general awareness.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £24,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
