Job Description

The Offshore Recruiter plays a crucial role in our organisation by offering support in various offshore recruitment and administrative tasks, bolstering the team’s expertise and optimising internal procedures. Working closely with Head of HR you will be an integral part in devising and implementing effective offshore recruitment processes that complement our offshore recruitment objectives across the business. Collaborating seamlessly with HR, crewing and project teams to ensure the Company’s ROV fleet is manned with a constant supply if qualified, skilled and competent offshore personnel to meet global business demands.

Key duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Serve as a point of contact for agency and offshore recruitment for global projects, providing comprehensive support to the business with all offshore recruitment activities
  • Collaboration with identified recruitment agencies to source ROV, inspection and survey personnel through “Job Alerts” to ensure the ROV fleet is crewed with skilled and competent personnel
  • Cultivating relationships with recruitment suppliers while working within specified commercial rate constraints
  • Work alongside Head of HR, crewing and the operations team to forecast upcoming crew requirements
  • Conducting searches, identifying, and engaging agency candidates to facilitate crew allocation. This entails logging applications and summarising shortlisting notes based on role requirements
  • Managing the recruitment agency and offshore careers mailboxes, which includes logging candidate profiles, reviewing and summarising agency profiles for project teams, coordinating technical interviews, and assisting with the onboarding process as needed
  • Efficiently addressing and resolving queries from recruitment agencies
  • Ensuring agency workers are properly recorded in the company's business management system (BMS). This involves creating agency workers' HR profiles and storing essential interview documents and other candidate-related data within the BMS
  • Assisting HR and crewing with general administrative responsibilities, formatting CV’s etc.
  • Generating purchase orders to support agency job confirmations and issuing purchase orders
  • Prepare recruitment metrics, both routinely and upon request
  • Contributing to the development and operation of the BMS recruitment and personnel modules
  • Assisting the Head of HR in managing onshore recruitment tasks
  • Recording and summarising performance appraisal data for offshore personnel
  • Assist in supporting recruitment project-specific tasks and identifying opportunities for enhancing the efficiency of the recruitment team and suggesting improvements
  • Participating in recruitment-focused events, including job fairs and support the business with recruitment campaigns
  • Participate in the on-call crewing rota during out-of-office hours
  • Undertake any other office duties as required by the company.

Qualification and Experience

  • Previous experience in recruiting and talent acquisition (preferred)
  • Experience of Oil and Gas industry (preferred)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Environmental training general awareness
  • Safety training general awareness.
