The Senior Buyer role is based within our Mission Systems business area

The difference our new Senior Buyer will make

As a Senior Buyer, you’ll have a role that’s our of the ordinary. As a Senior Buyer for Babcock Missions Systems, you will be responsible for driving performance and value opportunities on our International Programmes managing a diverse supply chain in our international markets.

Day to day, you’ll help with identifying value opportunities and levers, supply Chain Design, supplier Relationship Management, operational Excellence and reporting and governance Compliance

**Essential experience**
- bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Experience within a Supply Chain role, preferably in a Defence or Engineering environment
- Analytical skills to analyse data and make decisions
- Be able to read and understand technical drawings and ability to communicate complex requirements to/from supply chain is an advantage
- Ability to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business
- Obtain or have the ability to obtain BPSS clearance
