A great opportunity for a driven procurement professional to join a leading organisation as a Senior Buyer, responsible for leading nominated bids and proposal activities.

**Key Responsibilities of the Senior Buyer;**
- Implement Supplier management and procurement ensuring compliance.
- Creation of the supply chain strategy and support internal make buy strategies to best meet the customer needs.
- Support development of bid packages including supplier source selection and proposal evaluation.
- Establish flexible and innovative contracting strategies.
- Prepare and complete negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements including Proprietary Information Agreements.
- Conduct risk issue and opportunity management.
- Support the management of supply and demand schedules, supplier quality delivery and financial performance.
- Conduct supplier improvement activities and integrate results into contracting strategies.
- Provide strategic and transactional support to the purchase of goods and services where required.

**Personal Specification of the Senior Buyer;**
- Proven Procurement experience.
- Experience within a Manufacturing / Engineering environment.
- Knowledge of Contract Terms & Conditions.
- Excellent communication & negotiation skills.
- Driven and flexible attitude.

This role would also suit you if you have held a role as a Buyer, Senior Buyer, Purchasing Controller, Purchasing Officer or Commercial Officer.
