Coventry, United Kingdom Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust Full time

A wonderful opportunity has arisen within Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust for people with lived experience of mental health recovery to join our lived experience workforce.

By using your own lived experience of recovery you will be supporting people who are accessing these services. Prior participation in the two-day Peer Worker training provided by the Recovery and Wellbeing Academy or other formal Peer Worker training or experience is very advantageous. You will be expected to undertake a further course of training provided by ImROC once in post.

The roles are for a fixed term of 18 months and include support for you to study for an apprenticeship in health care Level 3 however, once you have completed the Care Certificate standards, attained a good standard of work in your qualification and your manager is happy with your progress you will move into a Band 3 role whilst you complete your qualification.
