**Job Title: Media Buyer / Planner**
**Job Location: Newcastle-Upon-Tyne / Fully Remote**
**Salary: £30k-£40k**

Our client is a thriving agency based in Newcastle City Centre and is on the lookout for an experienced Media Buyer / Planner to join the team. The purpose of this role will be to drive and lead the organisations media buying function.

**Role and responsibilities**:

- Developing B2B advertising strategies covering both print and digital media.
- Identifying the best publications and advertising types to target depending on campaign objectives.
- Negotiating rates and ensuring the client gets the best possible packages available to them.
- Building relationships with publication contacts.
- Organising and managing the media schedule as the campaign progresses.
- Briefing in advertising assets to internal content and design teams, ensuring deadlines and specs are met.
- Work closely with content team to make sure that the business provides full funnel, fully integrated marketing campaigns for clients that deliver strong results.
- Reporting and analysing results to shape campaigns and maximise ROI for clients.
- Working with the finance team to ensure that advertising campaigns meet client budgets.
- Help build the service, leading on process development.
- Working with the commercial team on proposals and pitches for new projects.
