**Your life as a Human Resources Coordinator**

With support from the Directors of Operations you’ll manage the HR function for the company. You’ll provide a high-quality experience for our people and line managers by managing key processes and responding to requests and queries. At the heart of everything you'll do are our people. You'll develop strong relationships with everyone you deal with as you go about your daily work. You'll particularly enjoy getting to know our people and understanding what they need from you and how you can make their life easier. And you'll get a real buzz from making them happy

**What you'll do**
- Work with the leadership teams to develop Balance, our people proposition
- Prepare offers of employment and work with support teams across the business to ensure everyone is ready to give our joiners a great welcome
- Work with our new people to carry out their pre-employment screening processes
- Manage the monthly payroll and pension processes and prepare the annual P11ds
- Manage the annual essential training programmes, working with line managers to ensure employees complete their training on time
- Support Health and Safety requirements
- Work with line managers to identify training needs and deliver solutions
- Manage the leaver process including acknowledging resignations, exit interviews and payroll processes
- Manage all the employee benefit schemes, working with our brokers to manage the annual renewals
- Support the planning and delivering of our annual engagement plan and charity activities
- Support the management of our intranet by keeping it up to date with company news and activities
- Support employee relations activities, including long term sick leave, grievances, disciplinaries and redundancies with our outsourced HR support
- Complete the annual review of HR policies and procedures ensuring we remain compliant with changing legislation
- Lead the wellbeing strategy, with the opportunity to become a mental health first aider.
- Keep the HR databases accurate and up to date
- Answer routine queries and requests for information
- Office management activities including ordering stationary and fruit
- Identify ways of improving our processes and people interactions and make recommendations to your line manager
- Benefit from the balance of a hybrid way of working, working 2-3 days a week in the office and the remainder at home

**Who we're looking for**

We're searching for an organised people person who gets what great customer service looks like and has what it takes to deliver it, as well as:

- At least 1 years’ experience of working in HR
- A HR qualification or working towards one
- A passion for learning and developing their skills and knowledge in HR
- The confidence and communication skills to write clearly and speak easily with anyone
- Experience of working in a customer service role
- A keen eye for detail and maintaining confidentiality
- A proactive, positive, can-do attitude that opens the way to great teamwork and outstanding service
- Experience of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
- The ability to manage their own workload, prioritise tasks and use time productively
- Proven experience of working with Microsoft Office programmes
- Eligibility to work in the UK and everything it takes to successfully complete pre-employment screening
