They provide the very best service, and they would love your help to continue that process.
Overview of the role
This client is looking for a Part time Floating Family Support Worker based in the Coventry area. Will be working with families and carrying out assessments of their needs, helping with budgeting and guidance on managing their home, providing general emotionalsupport to promote their independence, and supporting with parental advice.
Roles and Responsibilities:

- Working with a group of Families and a small group of Individuals to support them with parental advice and life skills
- Housing benefits, Tenancy support.
- Responding appropriately to chaotic and challenging to behaviour to promote the wellbeing of people in the service and staff to undertake training E.g. through attendance at formal courses.
- Participate in the team's provision of individual support and needs assessment, including risk assessment, advice, emotional support, and practical assistance
- Share responsibility for the use of information systems regarding records E.g. Staff communications
- Experience and Knowledge
- Experience in dealing with Young people and Families - Or support work in a similar setting
- ICT/ Admins
- Understanding use of Word, PowerPoint and Excel and report writing.
- Proven experience of working with families in the housing sector or support work in a similar setting
- Qualifications in health and social care
- or equivalent to
