**Production Controller**

Based in our brand new production facility, we are looking for a Production Controller who will be responsible for developing and implementing productions schedules to meet customer demand.

**Position Overview**

Reporting directly to the Head of Design and Manufacturing, the role's key focus is to manage the production schedule for our manufacturing facility in Abingdon. You will work closely with our production team, engineering team and leadership to ensure timely production of our bearings and tooling, providing a first class service to our clients. You will be able to communicate effectively with colleagues, act as a team player and be able to work to deadlines to ensure customer delivery dates are achieved.

**Key responsibilities**:
As a specialist in your role, you will:

- Coordinate with our Stock and Warehouse controller to ensure timely delivery of required materials
- Work closely with our Quality Manager to maintain high standards and compliance at all times
- Process works orders and manage their progress through to completion
- Deliver weekly production meetings to update management on production timelines and flag any delays if needed
- Seek ways to improve processes and production efficiency
- Troubleshoot production issues and escalate to leadership when necessary
- Work in conjunction with the Workshop to monitor the quality of products made
- Maintain health and safety compliance at all times
- Escalate any issues with production when required
- Support with the management of the sales inbox for any queries relating to UNASIS orders ensuring clients are responded to in a timely manner
- Monitor purchase orders to ensure efficient stock levels are maintained for production

**Experience/qualifications required**:

- A mechanical or precision engineering background
- Knowledge of business processes related to production management
- Experience of managing a production schedule and working to deadlines
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Problem-solving skills
- Integrity
- Ability to prioritise tasks
- Ability to work under pressure to deadlines
- Strong team player
- Drive and a proactive, can-do attitude

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
