The department’s strategic objectives are to provide a professional and efficient service to the University's Schools in all of these areas. This requires engagement at all levels within the Schools, and close liaison with other central service departments to provide a coherent student experience.

Within Education Services, there is a unit that has two primary functions: to provide appropriate systems, processes and support for the administrative needs and requirements of current students in relation to the management of their academic progression; and to maintain consistent and accurate student records for all current and previous students.

In this team, a number of staff are embedded within a School and/or Theme and are focussed directly on the front line delivery of course administration and student support and work closely with the staff in a nominated School to deliver those functions.
