**A bit about the role**

Our family support service in Glasgow seeks to work collaboratively with primary & Secondary schools and other agencies to design and deliver impactful services, activities and support to meet the needs of individual pupils and families within schools, at home, and the local community. To achieve this, we will work with schools and other agencies to understand their priorities and needs within their school, home and local community and put in place the right interventions that will make a real difference. This is a vital part of our work.

**How you'll help to create brighter futures**
- Providing a high-quality service to children, young people and their families, based on an assessment of need and is outcomes driven.
- Delivering a complex and specialist interventions with children, young people or families on a 1:1 basis, group or community
- Providing lead case/care planning management, including undertaking assessing, reviewing and managing risks.
- Attending and participating at relevant multi agency meetings, providing a lead role ensuring reflective and analytical practice review.
- Working with parents/carers on priority areas e.g. boundaries, routines, neglect, engaging with school (attending meetings, parent's evenings etc).
- Being responsible for day to day resource planning to ensure high quality services are delivered.

**Let's talk about you**
- HNC in Social Care or equivalent SVQ level 3 Health & Social Care.
- Experience of working directly with children and families, either individually or in a group setting.
- Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication
- The ability to maintain written records to a high standard.
- The ability to coordinate referral, assessment and support planning
- Full UK driving licence and car essential
