**Requirements**:
**The Role**:
Our Senior People Business Partner will drive all aspects of our People Plan, contributing to the global growth of our organisation whilst being a trusted advisor to our leadership team. They will form a pivotal, influential role to embed and maintain our leadership principles and core values, ensuring people operational activity is underpinned by excellent employee experiences.

Through every part of our employee lifecycle our aim is to consistently raise the bar on engagement, support and partnerships, introducing improved ways of working through awareness of business priorities and best practice. Being a new addition to the people function, our Senior People Business Partner will be able to confidently show the value of a business partnering model, forming a strategic part of how our business functions collaborate efficiently.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Establishing a People Partner function to support us in our scale up phase of growth across the Globe.
- Focusing on supporting our Product Engineering functions, circa 250 headcount
- Building solid lasting relationships, becoming a trusted advisor and partner throughout all levels of the organisation
- Leading change and transformation projects to support our navigation through expansion across business functions as we develop
- Identifying areas to improve and delivering change initiatives to support and promote our diverse and inclusive culture
- Support our line managers and wider people function with practical employee relation issues, acting as an escalation point when required
- Offer guidance to our leadership team to enhance and improve their leadership effectiveness through sound advice and feedback delivery
- Providing input to the wider People team to ensure accurate data is recorded and utilised and reported
- Promote a culture of learning and development to inspire and enhance the teams abilities to achieve
- In conjunction with the Global HR Manager, monitoring, reviewing and updating all people policies and ensuring these are in line with the current legislation.
- Working in accordance with all relevant legislation, policies & procedures and guidelines - both internal and external.
- Support employee engagement, attraction and retention projects alongside our Talent Acquisition and Reward teams

**What you will need to succeed**:

- Significant experience within a People or HR function as a solid HR generalist
- Exposure to working with engineering or technology teams
- Able to build and deliver a people plan agenda, prioritising the needs of a business alongside managing employee expectations and engagement
- Exposure to working within a Start-up or Scale up environment, positively responsive to adapting to change and pace
- A keen interest in remaining hands on with operational HR activity
- Able to inspire and develop teams, creating connections across functions and forming collaborative working relationships
- Experience of interpreting policies, procedures and situations in order to identify pragmatic solutions/recommendations.
- Strong employment law and proven experience of providing credible advice
- Proven experience of metrics reporting and monthly reporting of HR activities and projects.
- Credible and professional approach with the ability to interact with all levels and roles within the business
- High attention to detail with the ability to interpret data effectively with a view to constantly developing more effective ways of working.
- Excellent planning and organisation skills, able to manage own workflow and deliver clear communications
- CIPD Level 5 or Above
