**Job Summary**

**Project Albert - Programme Manager Azure Readiness**

The Programme Manager Azure Readiness will support the Albert Programme Director in the delivery of the Azure Cloud migration, a core foundation of the Albert programme.

This is an opportunity to be part of a new team, supporting the Albert Programme Director and CIO and the wider Albert Programme team on the delivery of its ambitious transformation objectives.

The individual will be expected to have in depth experience of completing complex system migrations as a minimum from Data Centre to Data Centre using virtual technologies and moving from OnPrem data centre to a public Cloud.

Specific objectives are:

- Integration of target solutions within Canada Life’s European IT estate,
- Development of migration plans and then their execution to migrate all in scope systems through all environment stages - Dev - Prod including DR, including all migration phases,
- Robust testing (functional, non-functional, DR, Security, etc.) and QA execution to give business assurance,
- Adoption and enablement of all controls, processes, and procedures defined within the Organisational Readiness project working in tandem with this project and in line with Canada Life’s overarching policies and standards,
- Decommission of legacy environments,
- Supporting all required regulatory submissions and approvals,
- Tracking all cross project, programme and portfolio dependencies, milestone and deliverables include value/benefit milestones,
- In addition to standard Project Management best practice, compliance with CL methodologies and best practice - reporting in line with CL programme and project frameworks and reporting cycles - progress, risks, issues, resources, budget, etc.
- Coordinate engagement with Business Readiness team, Key Business Stakeholders and business teams to support migration planning, testing, model offices, final execution, post migration support working with all key support providers (internal and external),
- Lessons Learned and project closure.
- Coaches resources underneath to drive alignment to outcomes, benefits and agreed KPIs

**What you'll do**

- Decommissioning of all legacy environments
- Coaches’ teams and sponsors in the transformation mind-set ensuring robust delivery outcomes in line with Albert programme KPIs.

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**
- Experience of working in large scale, complex Cloud Migration programmes with Financial Services.
- Proven experience of delivery, track record of issue and risk resolution in meeting the key drivers and requirements of the business
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills and proven relationship builder
- Excellent communication skills at executive level
- Strong change/project management skills
- An appropriate technical understanding of cloud migrations and broad business perspective from previous implementations
- Strong analytical skills and an eye for detail
- Can act independently with initiative and decisiveness, and is aware of when to escalate issues
