**Head of Marketing and Media**

**Status**:Full Time

**Reports to**: Chief Executive Officer

**Position Summary**:
The Head of Marketing will be a key organizational leader and responsible for the development and management of a comprehensive marketing strategy for Woking FC. This position will supervise an employee and multiple university work placements, managing the functions of marketing, community engagement, media relations, social media, digital media and content. The Head of Marketing will also oversee match presentation and develop a cohesive Brand Theme each season.

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The following are examples of the various functions required. The job requirements are not limited to the items on this list.
- Build, Develop, and lead a Marketing team responsible for bringing the Woking FC brand to life through integrated strategies across multiple platforms including digital and social media, advertising, promotions, live events, and marketing the selling of individual game tickets for all 23 Woking FC League matches and Cup / Trophy ties.
- Develop and foster a vibrant culture focused on storytelling meant to deepen relationships with Woking FC fans as well as connecting with new audiences to grow our supporter base.
- Develop marketing plans on shared organizational goals to accomplish organizational business objectives and goals.
- Oversee creation of annual marketing and promotional calendar.
- Develop campaigns in support of our ticket sales and promotional strategy, including the development of a game-by-game individual game ticket sales goal plan.
- Oversee, update and lead execution of brand guidelines and style guides.

ESSENTIAL ATTRIBUTES
- Proven leader with a demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding business objectives.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop, delegate, and execute plans, as well as assessing the long-term implications of decision-making.
- Understand the basic principles of budget management.
- Demonstrate a proven ability to display a high level of attention to detail and process-oriented organizational skills to prioritize projects and implement new systems.
- Demonstrate the ability to build relationships with clients and build relationships within all employees within our Club.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to successfully function in a fast-paced environment.
- Innovative and creating thinker, who can contribute ideas and participate in cross-departmental efforts throughout our organization.
- Actively participate in partner asset creation discussion and advise on how best to utilize assets to expand our marketing message
- Collaborate with the Leadership Team to bring fan journeys to life across the organization.
- Ensure Woking FC brand messaging is on-point across all communication outlets.

**Desired Qualifications**:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

**Education and/or Experience**
- A minimum of three years of related Marketing and Public Relations experience.
- Applicants must have relevant experience in a professional or semi-professional sports environment, or relevant experience managing a brand portfolio.
- Applicants with market experience are preferred.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £32,500.00 per year
