**Simple Recruitment are seeking a Business Support Officer (Parking Services) for our client based in Keynsham on a temporary on-going basis.**

**Salary**:
£10.63 per hour.

**Responsibilities will include**:
Under the direction of the Business Support Team Leader, the applicant will provide comprehensive customer focussed ‘Parking Services’ business support to colleagues, customers and other stakeholders who provide services within the company.

This job description is not a complete list of duties but gives a general indication of the range of work undertaken. It will vary over time as demands and priorities change.
- As one of the team, the applicant will contribute to the general management, development, maintenance and review of the Business Support team, both in terms of services provided, operational policies and procedures and resources.
- The applicant will ensure effective and accessible communication with colleagues, service users, the general public and others as appropriate.
- Assist the Business Support Team Leader to administer the day to day operations; ensuring business objectives are met through organising and prioritising workloads that meet customer demand.
- The applicant may undertake a fully documented investigation in order to assess the validity of the Penalty Charge Notice, using all available evidence to make an informed decision to either cancel or enforce in accordance with legislation and policy.
- The applicant will undertake general clerical duties including word processing, data entry, filing, stationery ordering etc as required, to ensure a high level of service is maintained.

**Requirements for this role**:

- Knowledge of legislation including; Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984; Road Traffic Act 1991; Traffic Management Act 2004; Bus Lane Contraventions, along with the Traffic Regulation Orders and all aspects of moving traffic offences and civil parking procedures.
- Ability to take ownership of a problem or task, assess information and make independent decisions to ensure a satisfactory resolution
- Ability to effectively resolve complex, challenging and emotive issues from customers in a comprehensive and concise manner.
- Ability to organise and prioritise multiple tasks whilst working to short deadlines.
- Previous experience within an administrative role/office based enviroment is desirable.

**Hours**:
The hours for this role are Monday to Friday 8:30am-17:00pm.
