Lancashire County Council are looking for two enthusiastic and experienced resilience professionals to join their high-achieving and respected Resilience Team.

The Resilience Team, on behalf of Lancashire County Council, ensures there are plans in place for any emergency within Lancashire that could impact on its residents or on the delivery of county council services. The service makes sure that if-and-when an emergency occurs, our response and recovery plans are ready to be put into action and any disruption is minimised. The team works collaboratively with many organisations who may be required to respond to an emergency.

**_Job Role _**

Working with both internal services and alongside partner organisations you would be expected to:

- drive various work areas,
- produce plans as required by statute,
- design and deliver training
- design and deliver exercises
- be a member of the 24/7 on-call Emergency Duty Officer cadre
- stakeholder management at local, regional and national
- represent the authority on various forums with credibility
