**About the Role**:
Ferrero is seeking a **Senior Payroll Specialist** who will report to the Payroll Manager within the HR department. The role involves submitting, validating, and ensuring the accuracy of payroll data sent to ADP. Additionally, you will be required to validate data provided by Labour Analysts. The Senior Payroll Specialist is tasked with overseeing all payroll processes to ensure they are completed accurately and meet established deadlines. In the absence of the Payroll Manager, this role will also assume managerial duties and identify potential improvements, as well as recommend system enhancements.

This position provides support for payroll activities not only for Ferrero but also for its associated companies.

**Main Responsibilities**:
As the **Senior Payroll Specialist** at Ferrero, you will play a crucial role in managing and administering payroll functions within the HR department. Your main responsibilities include conducting thorough analyses of payroll prior to commitments and resolving any queries related to payroll or interface files. You will contribute to both internal and external audits to ensure compliance and accuracy in our financial reporting.

Additionally, you will ensure meticulous management of all payroll runs, including the timely and accurate payment of salaries, pensions, HMRC obligations, and transactions with third-party vendors. Analysing sickness records in accordance with company policy and managing statutory payments such as SMP, SPP, SAP, and ShPL are also key aspects of this role. Working closely with the Finance department, you will address reconciliation issues, prepare and upload files to pension provider platforms, and manage the distribution of payments to third parties.

Your responsibilities extend to resolving access issues with the ADP Portal and actively participating in payroll project work, suggesting improvements and enhancements as needed.In terms of data and time management, you will support the business by ensuring that data from Workforce Ready is accurately loaded into our outsourced payroll provider. You are also responsible for thoroughly testing any changes to our time management systems before they go live, developing reporting templates tailored to business needs, and providing support for affiliated companies with any reporting requirements from ADP.

These responsibilities underscore the importance of your role in ensuring that our payroll operations run smoothly and effectively, supporting Ferrero and its associated companies in maintaining robust and compliant payroll practices.
