We are seeking to recruit a Band 5 Community Staff Nurse to the South Evening Service Nursing Team based at Hawick Community Hospital, with the expectation to work on a peripatetic basis as required.
The post holder will be a Registered Nurse who will work with the HCSW/Driver on duty in providing the delivery of the highest quality of health care and will be responsible and accountable for providing nursing interventions to patients in their own homes. The post holder will ensure a person centred approach to care delivery which is safe and effective to ensure and maintain quality strategy. The post holder will work under the direction of the District Nurse within the locality.
The post holder will be expected to provide accessible, appropriate, high quality and effective care service to all age groups in the community, by working in partnership with patients, care providers and other agencies.
The post holder will demonstrate effective listening, communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary team, working across a large geographical area.
**Please note: the salary quoted is for full-time hours (37.5 hrs per week). For appointments to part-time hours, the salary will be pro-rata.
