**Please note**: the salary quoted is for full-time hours (37.5hrs per week). For appointments to part-time hours, the salary will be pro-rata.
The Activity coordinator plays a significant role in patient’s recovery by providing meaningful activities to promote appropriate levels of stimulation, promote well
- being and encourage and maintain a patient’s current level of function and avoid de-conditioning whist in hospital.
You will be responsible for developing an activity programme, facilitating patient groups and individual interventions on the ward. The post holder will work as a member of the multidisciplinary team, liaising closely with nursing and therapy staff to design person-centred activities contributing positively to the emotional and psychological wellbeing of patients.
