Our client is a hugely successful and ambitious global law firm with over 7,000 employees worldwide. Their London office is currently recruiting for a Senior HR Manager on a 9 month FTC reporting to the Senior HR Business Partnering Manager As well as therelevant skills they are looking for someone who is innovative, commercial and value the work that they do.

**The Role**:
The Senior HR Manager role will support dedicated fee-earner and business services departments and have oversight of all HR matters within each team as well as taking part in strategic project work.

- Position HR as a strategic business partner within the firm and contribute to business planning and strategic discussions by advising on people challenges.
- Work with the EMEA HR leadership team to shape HR to meet the vision of the firm.
- Develop the visibility and profile of HR.
- Work with the partners and heads of department to define and deliver effective HR solutions which are aligned to the business plan, strategy and objectives of each team as well as the wider firm.
- Develop and sustain strong business relationships with key stakeholders.
- Coach and support partners and heads of department in their development of people management and leadership skills.
- Influence and support change management across the firm.
- Work with line managers to ensure the structure of the business areas is appropriate and meets the firm's commercial needs. Where necessary advise on re-organisations, restructurings, redundancies and transfers in conjunction with the Employee RelationsManager.
- Design and lead on the implementation of various policies and practices including maternity, flexible working, shared parental leave, mentoring, equal opportunities, headcount management, and dismissal.
- Work with the HR leadership team to communicate and share expertise across the regions.
- Work with L&D colleagues to ensure that those with management responsibilities have the right skills, experience and knowledge to manage people effectively and to help and support them when gaps are identified. Facilitate and deliver L&D programmes as andwhen required.

**Skills and Experience**:

- Graduate or equivalent and ideally CIPD qualified.
- Proven HR professional with previous experience of building effective relationships with senior stakeholders ideally in a legal or professional services environment.
