**Job description**

You will support the Health & Safety function by creating and maintaining a H&S training database, arranging internal and external training courses.

**Training database**:

- Create a training matrix for H&S training
- Identify where training for employees is out of date, or about to expire and book internal or external training courses to ensure this is addressed
- Maintain the database

**Training courses**:
Liaising with Department Managers, checking they can release their employees, and:

- Book manual handling training using internal trainers
- Book FLT and PPT training using internal trainers
- Book First Aid and Fire Marshall training using external suppliers
- Ensure for all training the following is done where required:

- A room is booked
- The Department Managers can release their employees
- Lunch is booked
