**Why This Role Is Valuable**:
The Quality Assurance Lead has responsibility to;
Oversee the analytical testing of finished products (and occasionally raw materials) to ensure conformance to specification. Completion of team 1 to 1s and performances reviews (where applicable).
Sampling schedule maintenance, monitoring of results from external lab. Drive corrective action following non-conformance.
Management of the external laboratory, including ensuring all items and suites are set up to meet customer and internal specifications.
Attend daily production reviews and liaise with planning regarding rejected products and what further action to take upon rejection.
Dealing efficiently with customer enquiries, internal and external.
Additional duties as directed by the Technical Manager

**What You Bring To The Role**:
Internal Auditing Training
HACCP Level 3
Food Safety Level 3
Food Industry background ideally in Quality Assurance
Analytical testing
Non-conformance investigation
Excellent communication skills on one to one and group basis
Computer literacy with strong literacy and numeric skills
Able to work effectively as part of a team
Attention to detail
