Aspris is seeking a dedicated and exceptional English Teacher to take on the role of Lead for English within our LIFE (Literacy Is For Everything) initiative. We are in search of a passionate, dynamic, and devoted educator who will enhance the educational experiences of our students. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching and supporting young individuals with autism, SEMH, ADHD, and other complex needs.
Our institution operates across two picturesque sites in a serene rural environment. We are an Independent Specialist day school that focuses on the education and care of children and young people aged 11 to 19 who are diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders or have SEMH challenges. We are looking for an experienced leader to oversee the English department throughout the school.
The subject leader will hold the primary responsibility for providing guidance and management for English/literacy, Humanities, Citizenship, and IT, ensuring high-quality instruction and subject expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the development of curriculum content to enhance learning standards and achievement for all students, ensuring it is logically sequenced to foster pupil progress.
- Guarantee that the planned curriculum is effectively and uniformly executed across the entire school.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and other subject leaders to create connections between the LIFE curriculum and the broader educational framework.

Aspris is dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
