Our client an Ofsted rated GOOD full-day care nursery located in the beautiful grounds in the Wallingford area is looking for a Nursery Room Leader. A full-day nursery open from 7:30 am until 6:00 pm registered for approximately 60 children across three rooms (babies, toddlers and preschool). They are soon to offer Forest School activities within their own outdoor area and also a designated area within the park. Your job role: - To support the Manager in every aspect of the setting’s operation. - To accept responsibility for the day-to-day management of your team, playing an active part in the nursery management team. - To supervise, lead and motivate a team of staff, delegating responsibilities in your absence. - To be responsible for planning & providing interesting learning opportunities following the EYFS. - To have high expectations of the team, ensuring high standards of child care are maintained at all times.
