Operational Support Officer

**Job Title**: Operational Support Officer

**Salary**: £21,00 - £26,000 (Dependant on shift and location)

**Benefits**: Company Car provided with Fuel card (ability to use the vehicle for personal use)

**Hours**: 37.5 hours per week with various shift availability across days, afternoons and nights.

**Contract**: Permanent

**Estimated Start Date**: ASAP

**Location**: Colchester & Southend On Sea (Covering postcode areas: CO & SS)

Or client are seeking Operational Support Officers to assist the Ministry of Justice in the field monitoring of individuals in the local area. You will track and support individuals to complete their sentences outside of the prison via electronic monitoring equipment. On a day-to-day basis, you'll visit individuals in their own homes to support with the installation, calibration and decommissioning of electronic monitoring equipment (electronic tags).

**What you'll be doing**:
Checking and cleaning equipment on issue and collection, as well as quarantining any equipment needed for evidence
Keeping paperwork up-to-date and following standard operational procedures
Taking part in meetings with your team and line manager.

**What we're looking for**:
Full driving license and Right to Work documents

Friendly, personable with the ability to put people at ease
Resilience, patience and ability to adapt to different circumstances
An interest in getting out and about and travelling around to visit people in their own homes.
