**Accounts Assistant - Credit Control**

Caron UK, formerly Bigneat, is currently recruiting an Accounts assistant to help mainly with our credit control function

This position requires a proactive attitude, excellent communication skills, the ability to work effectively in both a team and independently, excellent administration and organisation skills and strong attention to detail

**Responsibilities**:

- Monitoring of the accounts receivable inbox ensuring that queries are actioned or forward to the relevant person/department in a timely manner
- Recording any customer complaints and following them up with credit note requests where needed
- Raise and send monthly statements each month
- Resolving all associated credit control queries and escalation of problematic accounts to Financial Controller
- Liaising with managers of different departments to ensure any queries are dealt with in a timely manner
- Managing the customer “on hold” process for overdue, or customers exceeding their credit limit including communication to the relevant department.
- Daily allocation of cash receipts, and reporting of paid proformas to the relevant department
- Reconciliations
- Other accounting assignments & Ad hoc duties

Profile
- A logical approach to work, combined with numeracy, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Prior experience as Credit Controller/Accounts Receivable or similar preferred but not essential
- Strong MS excel skills desirable
- Critical thinking and problem-solving mindset
- Ability to work as part of a team

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £19,000.00-£22,000.00 per year
